    Cordura. Your thoughts?

I know leather is the most popular choice for pants/jackets.... wondering who has experience with Cordura and if it is a safe option? I like the look of some of the styles on trade me.... opinions?

the trick with any gear is getting armour.

But this has be coverd 1 million times , search for it.
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot

I think you will find cordura is the most popular by far. Leather is the most respected, and is safer, but cordura is plenty good enough, and its warmer than leather, and it is better in the rain than leather, and cordura is much much cheaper.

Most of the cordura on TM is fine. We have four sets of cordura in three different brands, and I would wear any of them with confidence. I crashed at speed (120k!) in mine and landed on the grass - didn't even mark them let alone rip them - a tar seal landing will be a different story I am sure.

Make sure they are long enough to cover your middle, and not too tight, or you will pull the seams.

    Thumbs up

I've only ever used Cordura in the short time I've been riding (last 6yrs). It works well for me. The better quality stuff will also be designed to breath and not cause you to sweat.
My goal in life is to be as good a person as my dog already thinks I am.
