Crikey that's impressive! AND now I know what gymnasts get up to once they develop *cough* curves and are larger than the average 8 year old.

    Bloody beautiful that's for sure.

Didn't see the thing on TV but I have several friends who've been doing pole-dancing as part of their fitness regime! Apparently the 'ladies' at the White House run pole dancing classes for mere mortals. I dare you blokes to give your beloved a voucher for her next birthday!

I saw some TV programme where it took the woman four years to build up enough strength to hold herself upside down on the pole. I hate to imagine how long it took these women and how many whoopsies hey had perfecting their tricks!

Good idea (if it wasn't four hours away) though I don't know about sending the beloved to a den of iniquity for lessons....

This: http://www.polefitnessnewzealand.co.nz/ looks like a better option

Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes. After that, who cares? ...He's a mile away and you've got his shoes

I'm seriously looking into lessons over at Pakuranga once my collarbone has healed. I want to get fit but hate "the gym" so want to do something that's fun and enjoyable. If I'm having fun then its more likely I'll stick with it till I get results - aiming for strength building, stamina and who knows, might get a nicer body shape as a bonus!!

taking that a step further, once you've got all trained up then installing a pole at home could reap even more benefits for all concerned!!

Now I would have thought there would have been shitloads more "enthusiastic pole fans" attending than a measley 300!!!
I'm sure there would of been a lot more fans if the ladies had been doing it properly, and by that I mean naked, don't get me wrong it wouldn't be easy to do what they did but for me it isn't the same when they have clothes on.
