    Pants or Jacket?

Did a search and read a few threads. I have enough cash at Present to get a Jacket OR Pants.... Would I be Better to get a good jacket and wear heavy jeans or go for a decent pair of pants and hold off on the Jacket?

I have a good Nitro Helmet, decent gloves.... but lately been riding with a Fake leather Jacket and Jeans....Its all city commuting

Are jean any protection at all?

Ok, I just bit the bullet and ordered these... seem to have good reviews and since I cant afford full leathers I think it will give me a little piece of mind while riding.... choose red as it is more visible than the black jackets....

    jacket

get a jacket first. You must keep your upper body warm
If you are going to do it do it twice.

Definitely Jacket first - Jeans are ok - until you can save some for pants.

Occassionally I ride in Jeans, but depends on distance and speed. However, I would never be without a jacket or gloves.....

    Happy buying

    Pants....

You gonna get yourself arrested if you don't wear pants in public
Opinions are like arseholes: Everybody has got one, but that doesn't mean you got to air it in public all the time....

My gear from 1 tonne arrived today... Pants and Jacket. Good quality and happy with them. Do you guys wear protective pants EVERY time you ride? never just jeans?

theres a saying ATGATT - All the gear all the time.

Personally i'll never go out with out at least Helmet, jacket, gloves. I'll wear jeans and normal shoes. But this is only on rear occasions and only small distances.

better to be safe than sorry eh?

My boots and pants saved my knees and feet when i had an accident on my 5 min ride to school once.
