Arrow WARNING: New speed camera vans

New for me today I saw this....

It has a camera in the back (as usual), operator inside, and a FLASH mounted where the towbar is.

It is also not in a normal van but a sort of minivan or something like that(see pic). I'm guessing they can do it in all sorts of cars too.

this one was parked on the back roads of Beach Heaven in North Shore Auckland but I would imagine that there are more contractors in normal cars around the city/country.

so yea. anywhere, anytime boys and girls.

    Beware.

This was announced a while ago when they ordered the toyota vans instead of the L300
they will become a common site

There has been a white van parked near the top of eskdale road, adjacent the pony club.
    I AM NOW WORRIED.
Some people just can't seem to comprehend that they do not have the right to be unoffended in their lives.

So they have finally got them on the road

    http://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/ar...ectid=10561616

The flash makes them pretty obvious though, suckers. Does anyone know if the vans are one or two lanes? or four as the case may be sometimes.

They are in the Waikato too
I saw one in a silver Toyota Regulus import people mover, same setup.
it was parked off the road behind a barrier by the river in the Karangahake Gorge. Often we have trout fishermen parking there so it looks very "normal" - the bastards
Retired- just some guy with a few bikes......
