    RGV150/TF125gearbox

Has anyone got exploded views of a RGV150 gearbox(gear clusters) and/or same for a TF125.Views of the clutch and primary gear would be very cool also.

I have an exploded TF125. I think I know how it goes together even. Well, the assembled one seems work anyway. I couldn't find any diagrams.

you won't find any info on the RGV150. Appears very similar to my old 6 speed TS125 components. Ask Bayden for his old one, I think I might sell my old one or you would be welcome to look at that. I assume you want to try shoe horn into the GP?
Don't you look at my accountant.

I've found that the TF/RGV box has similarities with myGP125 box..Wondering if I can mix and match parts to either get a 6 speed box or ,more importantly, reduce the primary gear ratio to make better use of my gearbox. EG. I can't find big enough rear sprocket to fit..need about a 68-70th. to get into top on short tracks.
This mix'n'match theory worked with DR/GS 125 box.

Diesel Pig looked pretty hard at trying to get TF gears into a GP125 box , I think the GP cases are too narrow . I have a tf open at the moment with a 6 speed in it Ill Take some pics tonight and post them

Yep a GP case is 12mm to narrow. Big job to fit TF 6 speed box. This we know.

Sounds like the RGV 'box is bout the same as the TF then as it looks about that ammount too wide.

I'm sure it could be done but whether or not it is worth it is the question.

Tex, I should be able to bring that clutch basket around tomorrow evening.

Oh that whole episode still upsets me I managed to beg a TS bottom end off Mr Ling*, Got it home pull it all apart thought to myself I am on to something here. I fitted the TS gearbox in one half of the GP cases it fitted perfectly the shafts, the drum, the rods all of it. So I then put the box into the other case again sweet as. I really thought I had cracked it, but oh no tried to put it all together and it stopped 12mm's short of mating up and it dawn on me those lazy bastards at suzuki, instead of designing the 6 speed to fit in the space of the 5 speeder they just made the whole box one gear wider! I will say it again the bastards!

*A epic in it's self, I was at ling's sponging off him as usual when I spied the TS bottom end and said to him "I want to take this TS motor pull it apart and muck around with it and I don't know when I will bring back" and get this Mr Ling say's "Yeah, OK" Damn he's hard work.

Koba gave me an output shaft from a RGV150 and it looks identical, accepts the GP cogs also, havn't checked thouroghly for length but that shaft seems the same. Can't say if the cogs are in the right position...should go check...
