what do you describe or perceive a strong county to be? military power, financial wealth, cultural wealth???? and what has size got to do with it? England's land mass is similar in size to NZ.

What if his family was among the innocents killed in Iraq or Lebanon?

It is very interesting to spend some time in a middle eastern country and observe how different their culture is, and how much they are affected and upset by other nations foreign policies.

Even relatively simple things build up like truck drivers in Jordan being forced out of work due to embargos on Iraq.

Maybe that's what's caused the current situation. Maybe it was the 500,000 million children dead as a result of the embargoes placed on Iraq from 1991 till 2003.
If my child was one of them, I'd do whatever I could to make those responsible pay.

Lebanon has fuck all to do with the UK, and if it did, the lastest planned attacks could have nothing to do with Lebanon as it would have been planned months and months ago before Israel and Lebanon flared up.
And if his family were killed in Iraq, chances are that they were killed by Iraq's anyway, not people trying to get on an plane.

Most of the arrested were so called British Citizens of Pakistani origin. So what do they think they will achieve other then worsen the racial attacks from white Britons on Pakistani's and their homes in the UK and probably the US, Australia and NZ. After all is said and done, whats the point?

If all they want if for the British and American troops to leave, then I think they should leave. Then send every foreign middle eastern back to their home land and deny them access to the UK and any other Western country.

I am really sorry to say that BMJ, but I am afraid that your post shows certain lack of knowledge. I am posting from the office so I cannot go into the details, but TANA"CH, New Testament, and Quran are about as different as it gets. All three books are available online in English (I'll lookup the links and post them later) so you can compare and judge for yourself.

A more accurate version would be:
The Yanks say "In God we trust, others shall pay in cash."
The Israelis say "G-d is our Lord, please leave us alone"
The Islamic Terrorists say "Allah is great, convert or die"
