They'll come here eventually. Though Chris Cornell is no Zack De La Rocha.

Went to my perfect concert years ago - was in Manchester and it was James supported by the Stereophonics. Seeing James was good enough on its own, but Kelly did some acoustic stuff which was just incredible! I miss Indie music - you really don't get a lot of that stuff over here - and I miss concerts that are affordable enough to go to on a regular basis! (but the rest of NZ life makes up for it!)
Hey, anyone going to the rescheduled U2 concert in Nov? I'm going to the Saturday one. Flying from Palmy for the first time - something different! LOL

    Godsmack...then Sevendust...and topping the bill...Black Label Society.

Then on the second day...MuDvAyNe...followed by Hatebreed..and finally Opeth.

Saw Meatloaf in Christchurch .. last year(?). He was one of the two acts I really wanted to see before I die. Also saw Neil Diamond and Cher who were up there on the wish list but just a shade behind Meatloaf in the 'must see' stakes.
The one other act I'd really rate as must see alongside Meatloaf is Billy Joel. I've enjoyed his music for the longest time. Two other acts I'd like to see but certainly ranking behind Billy Joel are Tina Turner and Elton John. Lets now stir up a couple of KBers and add Robbie Williams to the list. Say what you like about him but the guy seems to really enjoy performing and that's got to make for a great concert.
