Bike thief uses dogs as cover

A bike thief in Perth, Australia who leaves dogs as security as he heads off on a test ride, is stealing the bikes and leaving the dogs behind with the owners. Police believe the same man is responsible for stealing two bikes and abandoning two dogs in separate scams this month.

"A man arrived at his (the sellers) house with a dog and was given permission to take the bike for a test ride, leaving his dog with the seller," police said "The man did not return with the bike, or for his pit-bull terrier dog."

Fuck that. That's a bit stupid of the seller to look after a stranger's pitbull though. I wouldn't even open my door for anyone with a dog until they lock their dog up on a post where it can't reach me or their car. You can never be too careful of a stranger's dog.
I have deep pockets. It's just that it's a deep empty pocket...........
