Easily 30+ bikes present tonight, good turnout once again, tks to the Qk's!

The ride was heaps of fun, one big adrenalin rush . I enjoy the night riding more and more now that I know those roads at night, it took some weeks to get used to, the first few times were kinda scary and I feel for the noobs who come along, specially if they follow Custard, oops sory Qkkid, down the alternate route to the pub! Twas good there were no 'moments' on the road tonight. Saw one (mufti tks Speedie) flashing his lights going the opposite direction, thankfully I was behind a wee twofiddy and had just come out of a 50km area , so I hadn't passed him yet...on one wheel. Come to think of it, that Crazy guy Steve from Hams was also on the ride tonight and I saw him doing some wheelstands the nutter - good onya for coming up and introin' yerself Steve! Saw Skelstar from Wllgtn and who should show up from New Plymouth but Inlinefour! Good to see you outatowners turning up...all is forgiven Inline, well, nearly all . 'Rayza on crutches' was there, i think keeping a close eye on his K6, which he had generously loaned to a fellow KBer (something about the chain rusting away lol?), good to see you out and about and get well soon. Busa Pete 1&2 were there IN A CAGE , but they are forgiven cos both were wearing their KB beanies!! Sixpackback was there, I think he's worried about Gareth? Maybe it's that loud R6 he rides and wheelies everywhere?

Anyway, it was a good night.

Note: No apology for excessive usage of smilies!

    Talking Good ride out

Apologies to the two bikers behind me on the tikki tour to the pub from the first Caltex check point. Got separated from the pack - QKkid you said it was going to be a leisurely pace cause no TEC! Then stuck behind some $&#%& cages so by the time we emerged from Sunnyvale? rd was completely lost - turned right instead of left. Just as I started thinking that the ride was going on a bit longer than I remember a pack of riders fly past in opposite direction

Taking the hint we few stragglers did a prompt u-y and tried to relocate said bike pack. No chance - bike pack vanished So carried on and on and on and on and on and on and suddenly Albany just as bike pack emerged from Pirimarimarimairmaimriaimrambamwham road.

Anywho - warning to fellow kbikers don't follow me - you will get completely mislead
