    Basically it's a Suzuki AX100.

Forks and triple clamps ex RG50.
    Front wheel CB125.
    Rear wheel Kawasaki.
    Chamber TZR250.
    Handle bars fabricated. Switchgear AX100.
    Footpegs off some Honda shitter.
Seat cut down to suit me.
This side panel is just a piece of folded compressed polystyrene.

The other bike I'm building is made up from LOTS of bits.

Here's the original bike. And below is the progression.

Stange, won't let me add a pic that is already elsewhere on the site. Never had that happen before.

    Oh well.

ohh yip, looks familiar now that I see a stock bike... I'm wondering tho, why did yopu replace the wheels, I would of thought you could have re spoked the originals with 17" rims?
was the AX built after the GP's?
    cheers DD

That AX is a 1988. Not sure when they started making them but they're all single leading shoe drum fronts. I've got an 86 model that's road rego'd that I might sell (or something) that goes better than this one.

I have a spoked 17" rear and a set of 17" tyres (ex 'Speedpro') and I got the Kawasaki rims from 'Bert' (I have the front as well but need to get bearings to get it to fit). The CB rim was on the KH100 I have.

When I find a 17" spoked front it'll put the spoked wheels on front and rear.

We race here in Auckland at the Mt Wgtn Go-Kart track, Tainui Rd, off Morrin Rd. Ive just bought a bucket today, that was for sale at the track, and had a go.
    MAN ITS FUN!!!!

AMCC website have all the dates.
If you come down on Saturday the 30th September you can have a look and we might be able to find a bike for you to have a ride on. Bring a helmet, gloves and leathers if you have them. A good road jacket will do.
    Trust me...it is very addictive.

Unfortunatley due to prior engagements i will not be able to make it next weekend. So it looks like the testing will have to be done up some quiet country road. Still a couple of things to finish but should be all go for Ruapuna.

Will come out and have a look though on sunday.

Well youll be shittin yourselfs then when I put the dyno chart up

I wouldnt be to concerned the bike may look quick but the rider is a different story. Ill be happy with completeing the day without wrecking myself or the bike. oh and a top 3 finish wouldnt hurt
