where opinion holds more weight than fact.
It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.
oo make it three korean bikes.. i'll come along.. did the same route last weekend in the dry.. twas much better and could go at a slightly faster pace as well.. still in the dry you can really see the moss covering the road in the twisties![]()
Saturday is currently forecast for heavy rain.......will it be called off if that is the case?
The weather reports have be bleating how bad the weather will be for the last 3 weeks and sofar I have not seen any of it beyond a few overcast days and the odd shower, so we will just have to see on the day I guess,
Having said that, if on saturday morning it is Thunder and Lightning It is a reasonably sane assumption we wont be going!

Funny that in Auckland it was perfect blue skies until around 4.30pm on Sunday when my neighbour came home from the ridesafe trip![]()
If it is definitly cancelled I will post here before I leave, otherwise I will make the call from Botany if it is marginal.
If its just a bit of rain I'm still good to go, but if its pretty persistant and/or really windy I will probably give it a miss. I will post at 8am on saturday once I look out window![]()
I have been watching the weather satellites the last few days, there is a front coming, but we may be lucky in that it might either a) not reach us on saturday, or b) as with last time, the crappy weather split north and south.
Will keep watching.![]()
