I have heard something about a pepper spraying, but what are all these countless other misdemeanors you speak of?. I think the problem is not the fact that the pigs are getting tasers... but rather that the pigs we have in this country are... well substandard in general. (I said in general, so don't go bloody ranting about "some good pigs etc..." I know I've heard fairly tails about them and I'm trying my best to be PC by saying "pigs in general...")

It's all good to give pigs more force to deal with criminals... but that only works if and ONLY IF the pigs can be trusted to use them properly... I think from posts such as Ixon's I'm not the only one who feels that not all cops can be trusted with them. Sure there are those who will use it responsibly but then hell there are many people who will drive/ride responsibly above 100km/hr on open road. Do they let us legally ride above 100km/hr? - NO.

I only hope that not too many people die from this... and if they do, that we'll be informed about them and the pigs who use it irrisponsibly will be made to pay... (yes yes... I'm dreaming...)

In all seriousness, I've answered yes - it would give each officer a much better understanding of the weapon and it's effects. It is harmless after all.
