No such effing luck - I saw them for all of half an hour before heading out the door to go to work. A couple of hugs and a kiss or two was all I had time for - same as every work day.

Would love to, but if I did that, I'd've spent no time with my fambly on my birthday...

Gods, no! Wouldn't want to go back there. Back working at the Polytech, shit wages, no self esteem...

I'll stick with the life I've got at 43, thanks.

As I recently had a Number-4-comb cut, you're not talking about the hair on my head, are you...

Yep, look out for the black-and-white XT225 with the KB sticker.

Licensed to ride a bike since 18, and I'm 43 before my first Cold Kiwi - sad, eh.
Happy Birthday man or should that be wolf

And when, on the still cold nights, he pointed his nose at a star and howled long and wolflike, it was his ancestors, dead and dust, pointing nose at star and howling down through the centuries and through him.

I've had my motorbike license since I was 15 and was 51 before I got to my first Cold Kiwi. Hope to meet you this weekend

Likewise. It's shaping up to be a good event, plenty of KBers to catch up with IRL.

Instead of sitting around in the on-line forum talking crap we'll all be out on our bikes - sitting around in a paddock near Waiouru talking crap.

Starting to lose track of how many KBers I've actually met - which is a good thing: much better that I can no longer count the number I've actually met "out there" on my fingers. Better we should be meeting at the Toy Runs and rallies or just out and about on the roads than merely on-line.

Fair enough. You're only old when you lie about your age.

Whoa 43?? That's like so ancient like you know....

Is it a full moon tonight? Here's one in it's place... something about Wolf's and moon's
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
    we will remember them
