Love him or hate him...you had to respect his ideals. He will be missed.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Yeah, I've swum with the stingrays and always thought them to be quite docile creatures. Guess he must have startled one.

Poor bugger, I actually liked him
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods

So, so, so sad...... That guy always smiled regardless of what was happening around him. Reminds me of a bottle of soda, fizzing and ready to burst. We were goin to go and have a looksie at his zoo end of this year but I dont think it would be the same now.......... RIP Steveo

We went to his zoo about 5 years ago and it's an incredible place. Sorry to say that just about everyone there hoped the crocs would get him including me but any life lost is sad.

    RIP

was just watching his yesterday wrestling a croc in some indonesian mud pool. he's crazy, but passionate, and that's what counted - you've got to respect him for that.

The guy drove me nuts, and I wouldn't watch his shows if you paid me... but anyone with that kind of infectious, genuine enthusiasm gets my respect.

    Credit where it's due.
