    1/2 drink limit

if i have one drink i will prob wait 2 hours b4 driving. i am 5ft5 so i small and 2 drinks makes ,my eyes go funny lol. i not a big drinker any way, i dont see the point in getting pissed off ur face and cant remember what happened. i would never drive my bros scootor when i drink becouse its bad enought sober. i have stoped my m8 from driving home drunk i took his keys to his cbr250 and drove him and some other ppl to there homes. i would of loved to of drove back and taken his bike home but i havent got my licnce yet. taking his keys didnt go down good and i would hate to do it to a drunk stanger you all know the loud agressive ones. they should make a breath test ignition over the limit and your car or bike wont start.

Know what ya mean. Will not even get on my bike if I have had
    a glass of wine.

Was at a party one night. This guy was really hammered stumbling etc (JD session) then later on a Harley starts up and the rider rides off......it was the guy .

Man if I had've known he was on a bike even though I did'nt know him, I would've nicked his keys off him until he sobered up (i.e., next afternoon!)

3 bourbons is my limit when riding during the day and 1 or 2 at night due to lack of good vision. Oh...I usually eat too

Dunno why people hassle lesbians. I tend to like people who have the same interests as me!!

3 beers over a couple of stops is usually all I'll have. Just enough to take the edge off. The ride is much more enjoyable then.

I can't help wondering why you want to go to redneck bars like those.

dunno whether it's ok to comment, pf - and totally no disrespect intended .... but how would they know? i mean, i'm sure that you DO encounter prejudice because of your orientation but mebbe losta folks either wouldn't notice or [like most of us on here, i suspect] don't give a damn?

------- mebbe they were just looking at you because you were 4 nice-looking ladies??

1 beer is ok. Anything more than that and the bike stays at home. Personal choice.

Because people are stupid, they will believe a lie because they want to believe it's true, or because they are afraid it might be true. People's heads are full of knowledge, facts, and beliefs, and most of it is false, yet they think it all true ... they can only rarely tell the difference between a lie and the truth, and yet they are confident they can, and so all are easier to fool." -- Wizard's First Rule

Many years ago it was a common event for myself & the guys I rode with to get totally plastered and either one of two things block race where our flat was or tear off to god knows where just for the hell of it.

The block racing involved anything from solo against the clock runs to 6 bike anything goes laps around busy central city streets, we even had a rat cb200 honda twin stripped down like a bucket racer just for racing against the clock.

If we headed out of town it was usually full noise blitz's of the summit rd or akaroa etc

Everything happened from pushing cars with the bikes, bikes falling over at intersections because we were to tanked to hold them up, blowing clutches during stop light drag racing, having someone facing backwards on the pillion. One of my mates destroyed his bike within 2kms just from dropping it so often just because his was pilled up to the eyeballs, spit stops anywhere the circumstances dictated.

Looking back it was all rediculous shit we did, not just in the fact of the danger we put ourselves in but the total disrespect we had for others and the total stupidity of our actions, some of the things we shouldn't be here to tell them.

All I can say is been there done it, totally stupid doing it in the 1st place, glad I survived it & glad we didn't cause any harm or damage to anyone else in doing it. Wouldn't even attempt it now, bloody crazy for anyone to attempt to do it.

Any time now it's bike parked up and no travelling nowhere till the next day, thats why I don't venture into KB drinks evenings in town

I'm all for the "when in Rome do as the Romans do" type attitude over pissy lil' "traditions"....but there is definitely a limit. I mean are you going to go to Canada and start clubbing seals...are you going to go to Korea and order up dog meat for dinner...are you going to go to the American South and support the KKK? These may seem on a different scale but it's the same principle: turning a blind eye to blatant wrongdoing is nearly as bad as condoning it.

Placidfemme's lifestyle is hurting no one (and making at least two people happy) while these tosspots are hurting many people (it would have happened before) for no reason other than a fleeting feeling of power. In the words of Supernanny thats just "unasseptabul".

Treat people as you'd like to be treated....end of sermon.

One beer limit for me personally. In saying that, if the one beer decides to hit me noticably for some reason I will wait it out until I feel myself fit to ride.
