Itchin' to ride it!
Very well mannered motorcycle indeed.
Chucking it round like a sprotsbike.

Looks fast just standin' still! (So does the bike...)
You don't get to be an old dog without learning a few tricks.
Shorai Powersports batteries are very trick!
looks like you caught the infamous N4CR/Tristank in action at flying school!

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.
Was a yellow one of these (I think one of these) ontop of the Kaimais yesterday around 1:30ish. Had the KR stickers on it aswell.

Another convert? Looking forward to your write-up.
After 9,500km, mine's just starting to free up. The gear shifter is a lot less clunky now than when I first got it. And as for Falcon GT-Ps from a standing start, Pah! I understand that FJRs top out at about 244kmh (rated) in calm conditions on dead straight Wairarapa roads. Not that I would ever attempt such an exercise...

Cheers - Certainly understand how you would want to do a Grand Challenge on it - it's a real 'set and forget' bike - it's so well mannered and smooth that you have time to have a sqiz around and smell the roses - even though it's pushing a fair clip. It does nothing you don't tell it to.
I gave it the business over monument hill this afternoon. Just dandy! I now need new boots and a hero blob or two. Ground all into tarmac and loved it.
Lovely bike.
The windscreen is interesting - I like it - I don't like it - I like it - I don't like it - I like it - I don't like it - and then I have trouble making up my mind. It's a neat thing that you can make horrid with injudicious use.
I had 2 off XS1100's that I covered most of both islands of Oz on - way back then - including a fetching blue one.
So it sort of feels like home too.
Nice looking machine, you can still see the original FJ-1100 lines from way way back in it. Good old Yamaha lineage.
I loved my old FJ, brilliant sports-tourer (in it's day of course !!).

These have been a good selling popular bike. We are waiting for the Electronic Shift model to be released. Got a bunch of customers waiting to ride it.
RIP Phil (Pinky) SHINE ON YOU CRAZY DIAMOND.
