I gave up the booze a few weeks ago. Went from drinking EVERY day (6-8 beers) to nothing at all. It was hard for the first few days but its a piece of piss now. The weight is falling off me, esp around my middle lol.

Kids, dont try that one at home

For about 3months I ate little more than tuna (in spring-water) and eggs, and would run 3 hours a week. Lost about 10kg and kept it off. Ran 1st ever 1/2marathon in 1h38m. I was well pleased.

A feat I hope to repeat as of tomorrow (will-willing).
My knees are @$cked from too much road and marathon running. Can only play soccer if the ground is very soft. It's soooooo easy to put on weight and such a bitch to get rid of it.

I am 6'2" and 62kg. Varies between 62 - 65. People call me a skinny bugger or string bean or some shit like that. Then I look at them and I know deep down inside that they are jealous. I mean I wouldnt want to be any bigger I love been so agile.

I was in the highish 60's all my adult life apart from when I was training for marathons and dropped to 64kg or thereabouts but old age and buggared ankles set in and I got to the heady heights of about 82kg. Had a heart attack and was forced to look at my diet even though it wasn't too bad and have got back into half marathons and the like ( as a walker - easier on the body ) and am back to 73kg. Pretty drastic way to lose weight ( the heart thing I mean )
