I somehow guessed that Rashika would have burmese cats. But as for the Burmese being eaten by the Staff, I would bet that in a real fight the poor Staff would come off second best. Our burmese cats have sent a German Shepherd, a Corgi and a Rotti to the vets at various times.

so far the staffy has been smarter than that... mostly anyway... I mean she is a girl and the cats are boys so it stands to reason that she has the edge

Final closure of thread, RIP ginger cat!

The girl that owned the ginger cat in this thread told us that she couldn't look after him and had got him a new home in Timaru.

We have just found out that the true story was that the nasty vindictive little bitch got her father to shoot him because he wouldn't stay at home (alone all day) and she was jealous of him hanging around our place!

RIP ginger cat, you were a winner in my book but your fate was never really in my hands. As for the girl owner, what goes round comes round, she will get her just deserts in time, nature is funny like that. John.

Was thinking of showing this thread to my missus (cat lover) until I read the final post. If she saw that she would be flying down to string your neighbour up

Makes me real angry, some people are just arses, but as you say the wheel does turn.

And people wonder how psychotics are spawned... Such little disregard for life (even a cats) is pathetic. I have a problem with animals that are left to run wild and believe there is a place for their control but she knew she couldn't care for it and it had a new home so why should have worried her? Wonder what she'll be like with kids?

That sucks, such people make me angry - to treat an animal as an accessory, and dispose of it when finished.

Our own applicant who I posted about a few weeks ago has become a nightly visitor, she waits for me to come home every night.I still have to ask her inside, she doesn't bolt in when the door is opened...very polite. We don't feed her still, but she really enjoys the company...and the comfort.

But she is suddenly very fat - I expect we will hear the pitter patter of tiny paws come november,or sooner. But that's ok,as now she is my friend - when she had her last litter I just thought she was a local cat, owned by someone who cared....and she wouldn't come near me or let her kittens get touched. So they have grown up to be stray cats, and what's worse...stray breeding cats.So now I will be able to catch the kittens and take then to the SPCA,and get her fixed up at the same time so she doesn't keep making new strays.....I expect to see a ginger kitten or 2 this time.

He has to get full marks for determination.

You cant open any door to go out of the house without this cat racing round to intercept you, purring like a hot GSXR!

Mom says no but I feel an admiration for his tenacity coming on. I guess he will be in before the winter is over.

He is ginger and nearly got run over by a truck the other day. I was thinking of naming him "Dangerous".

That would mean getting another one to call "Rashika".

No, just too many cats. One applicant too many now. There isn't supposed to be a vacancy damn it!

Took a pic of him today, I think he might be a winner! :slap: Cheers John.
Yeah I think you should take him in, he looks like my cat Rocket except Rockets still a lil baby. When I went out looking for a cat my friend always told me that you dont choose the cat its the cat that chooses you and it looks like this ginger one has picked you to be his adopted family LOL.

That's sad news John, real sorry to hear it. That was a cool cat, what a waste.
