Need ideas for really special dates

Girl I've been seein for a few months now will be going back to her home in Germany in a few weeks.

I'll be sad to see her go but life goes on. She reckons it's 50/50 on wheather she'll come back or not.

So I just want to show her a really special time before she leaves.

I'm poor and can't spend money but I always make up for that with the effort and creativity and thought I put into things.

Would love to hear some ideas on what you would do to show a special lady a really good time, if you were in my situation.

She loves going out to pubs/bars/clubs at night and also tramping in the bushes in nature among many other things..

    Is she into skiing/snow?

Contact the staff at Whakapapa (or skifield of your choice), and let them know what you're up to... then...

Pack a picnic in a chilli bin, include a rug, ground sheet etc and have her come down and join you... go for a hike and happen across the cave, get the stuff out and have a picnic on the side of the mountain.

Pack a card and/or something she can take away with her. Homemade is good, something personal, that reminds her of you, and let her know how you feel... in writing. I bet she'll keep that for the rest of her days.

Same approach applies to a day at the beach, or maybe hiding something under/near a doc hut/other facility...

$$$ ain't where it's at... show her how you feel, and put the effort in,
$2,000 cash if you find a buyer for my house, kumeuhouseforsale@straightshooters.co.nz for details

If she is keen on the outdoors mate, I know you are into MTBing so you could take her out to Woodhill during the day...you can borrow my softtail GT if you want, then afterwards head off for an evening dinner and a couple of wines somewhere at a beach by candellight (fires are illegal at most places) then off for a few drinks somewhere afterwards.

    Read The Book.
You could take her for a sedate (for you) ride around the East Cape. Fires on the beach wouldn't be a problem out there, and the isolation is awesome. Pack a tent and sleeping bag, and hope it's warm.

yeh....i left the guy i wish id married in canada...and the americans didnt take my green card from my passport upon my return, so essentially im trapped here.
we chatted on msn for about year...i sent him birthday and xmas presents. actually...i was thinking he was dead! but i saw his msn username on a group, so sent him an email. havent heard back though.

moto....what mattered to me, was spending time with him. not what we did. he suffered a brain injury in a bike accident, so was mentally slow. he would sit at his kitchen table for hours...just sitting. and id sit with him, both in silence. occasionally, id brush and braid his hair.

im not sure what happened...he just stopped coming online. so i think we both decided, individually, to "break up". as i say...i would have married him, but he didnt want to. said he was too old [he was 54...i was 19]

Quickly - learn to play the guitar and write some country and western songs - you have the knack for it!

Waitomo caves. Coromandel, Waiheke Island.... something memorable. Don't try the home date of pizza hut and porn movie trick is all. But you do want a reasonably uncrowded place.

Hey man, I've been through this many times before. It does get easier though... Had a different German Mrs when I was 19, Polish later on, Spanish after that.. All left and I moved on but I never regreted anything because every moment was an experience of a life time that taught me many valuable lessons.

I'm not counting on wheather she'll come back or not. It's nice in the movies but in reality, it's a bit different. Even if she comes back, she could have met someone else or whatever but even still, it would be a nice surprise for me to see her again if I do.

I just want to do this cause I like her and I just want her last few weeks in NZ to be really special cause I feel good about doing nice things for her. Kind of like my farewell present for her. Even if I never see her again, I bet you I'll still live in her memories and she'll live in mine. In a world were nothing is certain, where I could drop dead tomorrow, I'm just happy that I've still got 2.5 weeks with her. Nothing lasts forever anyway...
