hXc - victim of road rage

On his way home from band practice tonight at about 9.30, hXc became a victim of road rage.
He came up behind a couple of people in a ute, weaving all over the lane at about 30 kph. Wanting to put some distance between him and them he pulled out to pass. As he got level with the driver he could see that he was texting on a cell ph so beeped the horn at him, shook his head and carried on down the road. The guy in the ute then decided that a bit of tail gating was in order, made all the more interesting by turning his headlights on full. hXc thought in light of their response perhaps he'd be better off behind them, so slowed and pulled left to let them overtake. They weren't having any of that tho, slowing and pulling left right behind him. He then sped up and carried on, only to have the lights turn red as he approached.

He was turning left at the lights, but was feeling pretty intimidated by this point, so didn't indicate his intentions. They pulled up beside him and the passenger threw his door open, nearly knocking hXc off his bike. The guy then starts throwing punches to his chest, arms and slaps him around the head a few times.. duh, moron! What does that do when you're wearing a helmet.

The lights changed green, hXc turned left, with the offenders going straight through the intersection, whereupon, hxc u-turned and followed at a safe distance to get their rego.
Police have been informed and were coming around to take a statement but have just rung and taken one over the phone instead.

hXc is okay, not hurt, but was pretty shaken up by the whole thing. He was able to give a good description of the vehicle and the prime offender and I hope they get the sod. Big hero - over 6 ft tall, and pretty solid (read: too much macca's). Picking on a fairly average height, slightly built teenager.

Oh Noes, Indy on the rampage!

But seriously. If can get up there this weekend, I'll wear my undies on the outside, Super Hero styles.

Zac may need a bourbon (nudge, nudge).
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

    Alright, you can bring it.

That was hXc on my login...but if you are coming to our place with your undies on the outside, you'd best be bringing the bourbon anyway - I will need it

Just had another ph call from the cops, the registered owner of that vehicle has not lived at the address on file for 3 years.... appears tho that there is fingerprints/handprint on the helmet. We have to take it in to the station tomorrow.
Advice from the cops - don't pass people like that, it only antagonises them... WTF, motorcyclists are supposed to have some sort of 6th sense that lets them know the driver in front of them is of caveman mentality...
What about taking the angry drivers off our roads??? nah.. silly suggestion - too hard basket, of course.

    May universal Justice come fast

This was not road rage. Your son did NOTHING wrong. "Road rage" makes it sound explainable or excusable when it is neither. Knucklescrapers who do this should lose license and vehicle. And be permanently cuffed (make em tight).

What this was is like this. Son met a DANGEROUS psycho on the road. An evil psycho bitchhole who looks for any opportunity to spread his hate around. If he'll bash a stranger at the drop of a hat, you can guarantee the loser is no joy to those unlucky enough to know him.

May the owner of pg6988 SUFFER removal from the planet soon. Pollution!

To damage psycho's vehicle will not suffice. If murder was legal I'd place him at the top of our list. But the best we can hope for is that he has the good sense to get himself sterilised. I will pray that his slime is not fertile & keep an eye out. Life can become difficult when mail and things go astray, and all sorts of bad luck plagues one. If PG is a KBer do NZ a favor - perish.

Glad to hear that the kid is ok.
The person in the ute is a psychotic maniac and should be dealt with as such.
Technically, what the bastard did qualifies as "assault with a deadly weapon". In USA people do serious time for that. Any lawyer folk around here - will this fly in New Zealand?
"People are stupid ... almost anyone will believe almost anything. Because people are stupid, they will believe a lie because they want to believe it's true, or because they are afraid it might be true. People's heads are full of knowledge, facts, and beliefs, and most of it is false, yet they think it all true ... they can only rarely tell the difference between a lie and the truth, and yet they are confident they can, and so all are easier to fool." -- Wizard's First Rule

Glad you are ok hxc, next time dont bother stopping, ride directly to the local cop shop and lean on the horn as close to the door as possible. Ride up the foot path if needed but don't stop, the next psycho may use his car instead of his fist!

Be a damn shame if someone 'accidentally' spilt some battery acid on said ute.
