Roadtrip sound in order. Bet they wont be so cool with 10 or so people of the same size finding them and knocking them around.

    Indeed - you know when....
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Haven't read the whole thread, but that really sucks. Hope hXc is OK, and learns to trust people again. Must be terrible for you guys as parents too... my sentiments...

    I'm glad hXc is ok.
The probelm with those sort of people is mentality.
You know like when somebody pulls out in front of you,you give them the finger then they get angry ..In hinesight it is better to simply pass and carry on.

A smack in the head for those kind of folk is the only way they learn...but that is to easy.
Perhaps if you know somebody who does dairy work (tube welder)..get some rice paper (which disolves in liquid) and make some balls containing sugar. They would then go easily down the fuel filler me thinks.

The person in the ute is a psychotic maniac and should be dealt with as such.
Technically, what the bastard did qualifies as "assault with a deadly weapon". In USA people do serious time for that. Any lawyer folk around here - will this fly in New Zealand?

SG makes a good point. This was assault and should be treated as such. Don't let the Police treat it as a "raod incident". Be very clear and concise as to what you want done and how you want it addressed. In my personal experience in reporting an incident, the Police, though not deliberately, so, got their wires crossed and misinterpreted my report.

Thanks for all your support for our lad. Its great to belong to a place like this, eh?
We are taking his helmet in to the cops this morning and will be sure that they get it right. It was an unprovoked assault and scum like that need to be in a place other than society for decent folk.
We will certainly be keeping our eyes peeled for this vehicle...karma rules!
While hXc did nothing wrong, there are things that he could have done differently and we have talked to him about that - running red lights etc....
