Looking for a bike to replace my mangled GN250, preferably not another GN but will consider anything up to $2000.

cool little bikes
yeah I've been thining about that one, but I don't really have time for a trip to Hamilton unless I know what I'm getting. I haven't ridden an rg before so I might look for one in Auckland to have a try on first. There's this one in Waitakere http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/List...px?id=73179059 I might go look at but might be a bit expensive for me. Is $2500 too much for a '98 RG150E S with
nearly 50,000 on the clock? people keep telling me that 2-strokes have too many problems/maintenance etc, but then there's a bunch of people who cream themselves every time you mention 2-stroke so I dunno what to think.
yeah 50,000k's is pretty high for an rg150, probably only worth about $1500

my bike's still for sale, (it is in queenstown though)
FXR150
rode an RG150 last night was kinda fun, if a little uncomfortable and fucking noisy. Couldn't get over how good the brakes were compared to the GN though. Some dealer told him he could get $3000 for it so he's a bit reluctant to budge on price from $2500 I think. I'm not totally sold on an RG though would still prefer a 4-stroke. I really want a VTR250 but finding one for $2000 is pretty hard. Maybe I should get another GN but I think I'd regret it pretty quickly, I'm just hanging out to get back on the road though.
my zxr is for sale...
2600 but i'm negotiable
