Yay... I might be able to make this one!!!

Sams heading up norf this weekend and leaving me up to my own devices in Auckland hehe

I've just gotta get my brake problem sorted, and if i have the bike back by the weekend I'll be keen to come along weather pending

Would be good if you can make it, working brakes would be a bonus though.

Well the brakes work... but the left side front disc is sqeaking... and I've been advised that if I continue to ride it, I could risk warping the disc and having to fork out another $400 for a new one...

I'm taking the ZXR in on Wed/Thur and so should have it back by Fri I don't know many routes... So I'm happy to be tail end charlie is no-one else has volunteered yet?

Cool - this means I might be allowed to go at the front of the group so I can HOOOON! Only kidding - regular readers of "McJim's daily Bullshit" will know that top end performance is not the VTR's strong point!

Had an interesting run on Saturday with TLDV8 and gijoe1313 - basically took the first half of the Goat Track GP and stuck it on to the tried and tested Learner friendly run.

How does everyone feel about twisties?

If there's enough interest we could split in 2 groups again. Twisty group and straight line group.

Any more abuse and you'll find one of my strong points (my toe) in contact with one of your soft parts (all will be revealed!)

yeah, their engines are generally bullet proof due to be highly understressed.

Your engine's only highly stressed coz someone told it what happened to your last 2 Gixxers - you have to drop valium in the tank just to make it idle.
