I quite enjoyed the "short cut". Gave me a chance to see how the CX went with new tyres, breaking them in in the process. Nice to catch up with you again Dave. Liked ya new ride, very smart. Feeling a bit jaded at work today.

Bloody good ride apart from the wind on the way there and the rain on the way back but hey this is NZ Dood to see you again Dave your bike sounded mighty fine as you departed We left you and headed to egmont village where after some fun passing all the cars cowboyz decided to once again severly compress his front forks and dive round into a side road leaving us to see the cages giving him the single finger salute no sence of humor
Stopped in Egmont village to fill up at an independant service station and was pissed off when the cow behind the counter refused my credit card and made me pay by eftpos said somethimg about the creditcard company charging them like thats my problem so i promptly told her how i felt and left Good run back apart from all the comfort stops eh cowboyz, recon you had a sore butt but didnt want to admit it Mouse learnt not to approach a roundabout too quick in the wet
checked me bike tonight and found ive lost a rubber mount and the nut to my rear exhaust mount plenty of time to get a new one before week end
Looking forward to next week end and the ride to Hohoura via gisborne

Nah, I'll let it die a natural death in my caring arms
Checked the oil level last night and it needed a smidgeon added, like 2/3 of a litre lol. Not surprising really.

At this rate by time time we get to hohoura your VN1500 will look like a SJ50..

Anyone looking for parts for a VN1500 just follow us. Do enough ks and I am sure you will find the part your looking for.

I hate ridingin the rain. Makes me want to piss all the time. Besides.. it was only like 14 stops wasn't it??????
