Hey you dudes i'am riding north on saturday with a group, staying at waihau bay motor camp overnight maybe we can catch up together somewhere. I'am riding a red GSXF 1100 taking the grandson on his first trip away. Weather should be ok.

Mondays good for me, but I'll catch you guys in Whakatane or Ohope (either side) or whereever EMan tells me he's going to be. My bike will only do 250k on a full tank (at medium pace) so If there aint still a servo in Waihau Bay I'll have to head back to Opotiki.
I'll be busy Sunday soooo... keep us posted

It'll pay to fill up at Opotiki, there is a gas station just before Te Kaha and then one at Waihu Bay then Te Araroa, only 91 tho, and at a priemuim price.

If my memory services correctly

it's less than 200k's from Opotiki to Te Araroa....

Just before TeKaha, Omaio... think theres just a shop there, Waihau bay... think I'll turn back from there... got a few things to do in Opape (thats where I come from) we pass it on the way but Id like to head up the coast for a look.

Im keen anyday for a blast and Im in whakatane. maybe a group could meet in whaka and head out through ohope and meet up with the main bunch at opotiki and fill up?

I think the Eman was talking about meeting up at the turn off to Ohope on SH 2.

i'm officially handing in my notice - only got enough rear sticky stuff (on the bike that is) to do this ride or the trackday...

trackday it is.

sucks to miss out on this one tho'. look forward to ride reports etc...

I get better milage because I ride a two wheeled TL and you used to ride a singled wheeled TL with a gyro' on the front

Hi and welcome, I'm thinking meet the Vegas guys in Texas - Taneatua - Opotiki and on from there...
