    South Island KB Rally

Ok people this thread is mainly up for the purpous of the poll, the main thread is http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...ad.php?t=32446 Please corect me via p/m if I have any details incorect.

    saturday 9th Dec 06

We will overnight at ?????? for drinks and grub..........then on Sunday go up to MtCook on a group ride. Then its each off home, at a time that suits each rider etc.

NB: Shearers quarters on the other station managed by the same manager and 6km the other side of Otematata. This one is much newer and flasher, sleeps about 20 in separate bunkrooms with 2 beds in each. Good showers etc.
    cheers DD

Sorry but I have a question and don't recall this being discussed (I'll go and have another read) - where are we going to have a few beers and a feed? For me that kind of dictates where to spend the night.

Otematata is my pick. (but also quite happy to go with the masses)

I asked because Rashika has already that you guys have a place already organised in Twizel. I was a little confused

I'm with the shearers quarters, mainly 'cos it means we'll all be together at once in the same place for the night = better socialising!!

My vote was for the shearers quarters as I know no bugger. And it would be good to meet you guys somewhere central

    Vote???

O.K., tried again, did it go through Sir Dork???

And Lil Byte: "My vote was for the shearers quarters as I know no bugger. And it would be good to meet you guys somewhere central"

Strictly speaking at Otematata you're no longer in Central (Otago), it finishes at the Lindis - but then I'm just being a smart-arse playing with words.

It's not just the Dorklanders, you got all manner of North Islanders having a vote.

Where's your vote D? Perhaps you don't count?
