hey crazyfox, i'm getting my bike painted, and was just wondering what the consequences are of not doing a clearcoat, as the guy doing it said I didn't need to, and that it would cost a lot more as he needs to do more prep work, is that true?

does it require a lot more prep work tho? and if i don't do it will it make the paint more liable to flake off?
