I have build the hayabusa, ZX12R and the Blackbird so far(1/12). Want to do the R1 next and the CBR600RR..They are really fun to build but sometimes very frustrating when I screw the decals up!
Don't you just love golf?
hobby city in town(auckland)down by container terminal.
I'm not sure I'm sorry... I only know my model shop (Aces Models in Highbury). Try looking in the Yellow Pages... and check TradeMe for "Tamiya" and then search through about 6 pages for the "bike" ones... they sometimes have some good ones on there... birthday presents that people never really wanted lol... Prices on TradeMe are only slightly cheaper then in the shops, but you still need to buy the paints and glue and stuff..

Ive got an original CB750 and Ducati 750 here at home. Still in there packing cases with 0 k's. Pity their only kitsets I brought about 25 years ago and never got round to building. If they were the real thing it would be great!
How long does it take you to complete one?

lol don't worry it won't... as i mentioned... you should paint it first... then you have to wait for the paint to dry... and then when you start to build it... you'll need to wait for about 5 minutes for each section of glued parts to dry... and even when they have dried sometimes they still fall apart... so you have to do it again... its frustrating... but rewarding at the end when your effort and time results in a stunning bike YOU built
No-one else will appreciate it as much as you will![]()

There's a model shop round the back of Newmarket (can't remember the St name, but it backs onto where the Rialto Cinema is). Walked past the other night and it has a big range of model bikes on display. My partner's got a Ducati 999 which was a labour of love & patience![]()
It's all fun and games until someone loses a hymen
Mr Models ( www.mrmodels.co.nz ) in Palmie do mailorder and seem to have a reasonable number of bike kits
Old age and treachery will always overcome youth and skill
Welcome to the model making club
not looking bad
I need to get an airbush sometime to do some nice paint jobs.
I only have a RG250, which I did Crimson red lol
Alas, need to finish my Yamato before I can get onto anymore bikes

Hey, kids! Captain Hero here with Getting Laid Tip 213 - The Backrub Buddy!
Find a chick who’s just been dumped and comfort her by massaging her shoulders, and soon, she’ll be massaging your prostate.
Ace Hobby in Birkenhead (opposite the KFC and next to the bar) is pretty good if you're on the shore, they mainly do kitsets and have a pretty sweet collection of planes, bikes, cars, and military.
