Nice to catch up with some of you, fucken halarious that everyone offered Carmen their pillion seat! Might turn up on the bike next week if I can find a helmet that fits her.

Thanks for the thrash Mark, the C Model is definitely superior to the A but the engine performance can't compare to the character of a V-Twin engine ... when will you learn!

    Anyway I'm off to beeeeed

P.S. was followed home by a cop and saw two others prowling around, busy night!

Not a bad ride, specially following my bike around!

Sorry to all those that I didn't get around introducing myself to. Not that anyone comes up to me...am I that unapproachable? :P

Get well soon to the crasher. I think you got off lightly!

Great ride last night and good to catch up with every one at the pub. Hope the downed rider is ok, I was really enjoying myself up till that point.

If the weather is good we will see you all next week.

    Important Contact Details

    Hi Guys,

It appeared to my wife last night that if it had been me that crashed, nobody on the ride would have had a clue who to contact in the event (Yes I did fill in the Emergency contact when I registered on the forum - but being a neewb do you know I am-ok the avatar might give it away but seriously that might takes hours for someone to realise - not having a go at anyone???).

Even the police would take a while to work it out as I doubt any of my Next of Kin contact details are correct on any databases back home in Australia.

Needless to say I now have a nice little print out covered by sticky tape in behind my license with emergency contact details, should something bad ever happen.

Only took me 15min and it should mean that my wife will find out straight away if anything goes wrong rather than worrying why I've been gone for so long.

    Cheers

Haha don't worry mate, she apreciated it.

I've only once got on the back of a bike with Mark and that was just through a carpark and even then I was worried for my safety! Nah I love you Mark, long time.

If in doubt put next of kin contact numbers in your mobile phone too under ICE (in case of emergency) I have a Nokia (which is bomb proof) Just an idea.

Don't have a Nokia, but my k750i is pretty well protected when I ride and the ICE idea is a good one, done that. Also carry a medical directive which includes pertinent medical info such as allergies, current medication, (none for me), and emergency contact details.
