No no no you are not bad...... you did good...

In another thread skidmark posted up pics of the good side of his bike...
He was asked to post up pics of the bad side.... but he was too chicken

So you kindly took the pics to show people what it was held together with... the 'duc tape' and the 'knead it' and the huge gravel rash.....

    So its all good...

The bike that went down on the last thursday night ride had very little damage... a wee scratch on the exhaust pipe.

Thanks for scaping me out of the trees

Hi all. Just thought I would take the time to say thanks to those that pulled me out of the trees Thursday before last.

Especially; a big thanks to Frosty for collecting my Beemer and the lass (name eludes me) that gave first aid before throwing me into the ambulance.

It was my first ride out with you guys, and not my last, but I am thinking there will a few months break whilst I get bits and straightened and roadworthy again.

I'll try not to make a habit of injecting so much excitement into the rides, last time I stepped off my bike was over 20 years ago so I'm hoping next time can wait as long again.

Cheers and see you out there soon.

That was Keystone19 that did the nursing bit......

Glad to finally hear from you...... and that you are ok???????
I heard your head took a bit of a bashing and you were kinda repeating yourself a bit... hence being thrown in the ambo... well ok not literally.

We asked last Thursday night if anyone had heard anything how you were getting on... so it is great to see you posting on here.

Be good to see you back on the road again real soon.

Oh and I do believe the tree survived as well...

Hey Keystone19. You'll have to intro yourself next time I'm out so I can buy you a drink or something. I'll try to make the pub Thursday night.

The heads ok, Crashe, Never anything in there to hurt really. The ego took the brunt of the impact, that and the poor old bike.

so its been a month already and i get my licence back tommorow,a whole month on from when i lost it on the last kb westgate ride. im keen to turn up and do it all again (except the excessive speeding) but since i was ticketed at 7:48 do you think if i get stopd shortly before then that the cop will be difficult and impound the bike? just wondering if its worth the risk or if there even is a risk. anyhow would be great to get back out, been awhile since i last rode
