Ah that explains that then...we are of the generation that is 'always found in the kitchen at parties'
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Lovely day all in all, managed to keep it shiny side up.

The fastest rider there was easily Sugilite followed by the world's fastest Pizzaboy.

I was still riding horribly clumsily (as usual)- over braking and not leaning the bike much - I managed to have a hoot regardless and the upside of riding well within my limits was I didn't have any moments.

Thanks Shaun for all the setup work and advice it sure made the bike much, much easier to handle and made the little tankslappers I kept getting a lot easier to control.

Thanks Liam for the lift down and Frosty for you know what.

Sugilite -- you sure can ride can't ya?? Thanks for the pillion session. I swear if I tried I could have scraped my elbows. - Just like AJ said.

The first time you left the pits and entered the sweeper we went so low I thought we were lowsiding, then you went lower at the next corner and the next ... WOW!!! Didn't know it was possible to change up and down gears while fully banked over either.

Thanks to the Qk's for the company back home.

Sorry Zapf I thought you were behind me and waited for you at the BP - the one outside Taupo on the way to Auckland with the attached Diner. When you didn't show after about 15 mins I thought you weren't coming so headed off. We reached Auckland in about two and a half days/month/hours (delete appropriate) so I don't know if you would have been comfortable riding with us - especially since you were riding with two large panniers and an inexperienced pillion.

loads crashed, i gave loads teh learn, got learned and Dover snores like a biach!!!!

after saying i don't do pot anymore i ended up having far too many spots and hiding
my head under my hoody for most of the night.

got the pleasure (obviously not so pleasurable for him ) of seeing a very cool highside
and seeing some wannabe's try and do me on the corners only to over shoot 'em.
That happened to me a couple of times and i laughed my tits off as they stood there
bikes up and the motard boys who like to rub elbows whilst passing maybe
    wanna move up a group??

just got a quick quote for repairing the damaged fairings 1k+ (lucky my excess is only 300)

Thanks Frosty for the awesome day.

Good to catch up with people and see more newbies having a go and enjoying themselves.

Thanks to Shaun and Two Smoker I've finally got a rear tyre that doesn't cold shear and hangs in there all day. All I have to do is use it properly now and find some other excuse for not going fast enough. Managed to have the balls to cut my braking distance down going into the chicane at the end of the straight. Jeez it was pretty exciting once you cocked up the timing of my downshifts lol. Just gotta trust that front tyre and I'll be away. Managed to give Cleve the slip in the last session too. Once he gets his suspension done there will be no catching him.

Mucked around following K19 at the end of the sessions. Won't be long before that girl is giving me the learn round Taupo. Just have to keep her on a slower bike, and keep making it slower. Otherwise she will be insufferable.

We need to see more chicks out there to put the old lady in her place.

What a great day, Thanks to Frosty and all the guys and girls that made the day rumn smooth.

I could never quite see the point in toe sliders before yesterday but now as a look at the big flat spot of missing rubber on my boots I kinda see the advantage, and judging by the amount of missing metal on the foot pegs I might just have to look at a new bike before the next track day.

    fukin awesome day.

Thanks Frosty, and everyone who helped with the day.

Personally learnt a shed load about myself and the bike, more than I have ever done since I've had it. I lost my mojo a while ago, after too many changes at once on the bike. Now, I've got it back and then some! Never had my knee down or held a decent line or had a good wheelie.. all that was broke this weekend. Still buzzin now, and my first rooted knee slider is being offered to the Gods of Speed..

    Thanks again Frosty, n guys..
and everyone else who did their stuff, and cheers TwoSmoke for tailin me. I'll give ya the learn next time matey
