Will the people of Iraq be better off? Don't think so, he was the only one that could rule that country as being soft dosn't work as Mr Bush found out. Put him back in power and get Mr Bush to say sorry!

    Worried, about SARGE?

I know a number of Iraq people, they didn't like Saddam, but they all agree that they were far better off before. All you had to do was keep your mouth shut and you lived. Now it's hard staying alive buying a loaf of bread.

I think that was the problem - they didn't like having to keep their mouth shut to 'live' (exist rather than live I'd say)

He sure is no saint, but when you're dealing with mad bastards with bombs and guns, how else do you deal with them? Time out in the naughty corner dosn't work.

By the way, iwilde, like the tits..Anyway back to the point, saddam has been a naughty boy just like a lot of other dictators around the world (mugabe ETC) and he will be gone shortly. You are the weakest link.. However his biggest mistake was pissing the Yanks off. Whilst it all looks like peaches and cream now that western democracy has been imposed upon them. Especially when you read western publications. I am not convinced that replacing Saddam with democracy (at gun point too) is all good for Iraqi people above replacing Saddam with a more moderate and more suitable leader. I think it has a lot more to do with western desires rather than middle eastern interest.
If you love it, let it go. If it comes back to you, you've just high-sided!

I don't think Sarge would be a very good Minister of Defence..

He would be much better as 'Minister of Attacking People we Don't Like' and lets face it, thats usually a lot more fun. In fact, this could be quite a saving, if Sarge is any good in his role we won't actually need a Minister of Defence....

I guess that makes me Minister of un-Economic Development then?

Good idea Paul. We'll get you refurbishing all that rubbish that got popped in as Infrastructure in the '70s, and I was considering changing Sarge's title and department to "Minister of Offense" and "Ministry of Offensiveness" respectively.

Thanks Pex. Fatjim is definitely a candidate for "Minister of Food and Drug Unsafety."

I had other plans for Darkman that invovled shadowy vigilante groups and the administration thereof.

Pex, you get to change your name to Winston Peters, provided you can quietly disappear the real one.

So Uncle B really stands for "Uncle Bum" then?

Despite the fact that it's Saddam Hussein we're talking about, I'm still opposed to capital punishment. I'd much prefer he spent the rest of his days in misery. We could sent hoodies around to play loud doof doof and attempt verbal communication. Or play him videos of Paris Hilton taking a Ducati to bits using only an 8" crescent.
