Is it a short ride planned then? Leave pond at 6:30 and meet at Ale house at 7:30?

1KM? No! 500metres! And by down folks, he means 'North'. Which is, in this case, slightly downhill.

Sounds like a great idea, stumbling distance from my front door.

Sounds good. Over Haywards and take the backroads to Thorndon?

    Sounds like a plan Stan!
I think me and my pumpkin are going to head over the Haywards to the pond if anyone wants to join us, from J'ville/Newlands at about 5:30 (ish).

Come meet us at Kaiwharawhara as would probably be quicker your way as heaps less traffic. may be a bit late to change meeting location for dennis etc

Shit, even a gixer rider would struggle not to make that distance!

Tonight's ride: Elephant Pond to Haywards, Porirua (via the south side of the inlet), back road through Tawa, Johnsonville, Crofton Downs, Karori to finish at the Speights Bar in Tinakori Road.

A bit windy in places. A reasonable turnout, all things considered. And nice to see some new faces!

I'm curious to know what happened to the SR250 (and Uncle B and Pex).

Though that I saw a GSXR (blue/white) on the side of the road at Judgeford, helping someone load a oldschoolish nekid bike (maybe SR250?) into a trailer...woo...a sliver civic maybe. That could have been them. Everyone looked ok.

    That was at 8:15ish.
