Eerrmm, excuse the sarcasm but I thought I rode a GSX1400, not a moped???

Two hours from the Autobahn to Ngatea??? If we left at 8.30am, everyone should be there at 9.30am easy, even the mopeds.

I beg your pardon Sir Paul but Sir Steve said and I quote "will meet up with Hamilturds and Te Aroha Tards in Paeroa at about 10:45 " well Paeroa is ony 15 min from Ngatea.......... ......... I rest my case
About time you tried a Taupo track day isn't it!!!!!!!

Point taken. I concur that Paeora is indeed about 15 minutes from Ngatea.
My concern is that we are looking at an 8.30 am departure from the Autobahn at Papakura and meeting at Paeroa at 10.45???????

2 hours and fifteen minutes????? The road guide suggests and hour and twenty from Auckland airport which is 20 minutes at least further still and that time is listed for a Granny in a Mini with a car load of sprogs needing toilet and lolly breaks.

Unless of course Sir Steve intends to do the Ramarama-Miranda loop a couple of times to warm up the donuts before hitting the East canal road???

Just seems an awful long time to cover such a short distance cos you could just about do it in that time on a bicycle.

Would love to do track too, by the way. Just the old issue of Insurance cover if one should happen to watch their peice of fine machinery grinding away precious bits after getting exuberant on a corner.

I know this will likely change knowing the Auckland weather systems but the 7 day accurate forecast on the website shows next weekend to be rather wet and manky In fact, it doesn't look pretty at all for next weekend. lets hope these winds blow off the crappy systems we are getting at the moment and that the weekend will be sweet.
