And yes not everyone has a credit card..... I dont.

    What happens then?
If say they have upgraded their drivers/riders license and that is taken off you til the new one arrives.

You have seen it Crashe, when we gave the letterbox a rebuild...... The little white Nissan wagon with the blue tide mark on the bottom (including the bumpers)........ A great South Auckland car,no one in their right mind would steal it.

    your screwed!!
I guess you could get one of those 18+cards they came out with when they lowered the drinking age to 18.
I said to the lady at vtnz what am i going to do with no photo id now! my choice was if i didnt had over my licence i want getting a new one!.
do what my brother did, get a second licence by sayn you lost it, i think they charge like $20 bucks to get a replacemet one. so then you always have a backup.

I think they have different numbers on them CBA so that people can't use someone else's expired or lost or stolen licence, they cancel the old one and issue a new one that has a different coded number on it. Sucks aye, cause I'd like to have on in my bike jacket and one in the car, but I was told they can't issue you two valid licences.

Well what an interesting day! I am sooo sore and im only in Taupo.... Oh my God, I love the FZR! When I first hopped on it I was so scared of it but by the time that we were at the end of the motorway I was feeling quite comfortable. It is so different from my KR I cant even explain. I dont think I got any higher than 3rd gear! It cruises so well at about 110-120 and I made it to Taupo within 4 hours so I was happy with that. Did I mention how much my butt hurts? Im really really tired and think that I shall sleep very well tonight.

Big huge thankyou goes to TLVD?... for picking me up from the airport amd riding with me from Autobahn until Taupo, it was so much easier having someone with me. Big huge thanks to Crashe for escorting me down the motorway and riding with us until Cambridge. I dont know if I could have done it without you guy's!

Meeky MOuse and her brother picked me up from Wairakei (sp?) and escorted me back to their place wher there mum is cooking me dinner, it smells awesome. Im just sitting here with a beer now relaxing. Wow Ive had an awesome day and I get to do it all again tomoro.

I shall write up a ride report sometime after I get back!

Good to hear from you. I didn't think that would happen for me until I was back from Oz. Glad to hear its going well so far. Good luck for tomorrow while I'll be suffering (yeah right!!) travelling to Melbourne. Big ups to all those that helped you.

I'm on a promise to buy a new tank bag for LB's Ducati while I'm there so I'll have to haunt the bike shops.

Ride safe, see you in a while.
    Cheers

Great to hear that the Auckland crew looked after you ok STR8.
Take care on leg 2. The forecast is for the wind to pick up during the day but if you are setting out early, you should be sweet!

Oh! and for the crew way down south... batten down the hatches. They were talking about 130k gusts by late afternoon (and 300mm of rain).
I'm only wearing black until they develop something darker
