As for a bigger bike in a short time............I'm happy with a 250 and dont really have any intention of getting anything bigger in the near future.
Reasons:
250's have good resale value (yes even hyobags), 90% of my ussage is spent lanesplitting and only reason for trading out of the Ginny was so on the occassion I can get out on the weekend rides I can get above 100kph
