SwanTiger had one going but I'd say it's sold by now.

GV250 is cheaper due to it being a Hyosung, some of the price is in the name.

For example I have just purchased a Hyosung GTR because they are cheaper for age and mileage than your Suzuki etc. As for parts and reliability .........well that is something I'm going to find out

yea im just looking for something that looks good and at a good price. From the 250 crusiers ive seen the gv looks the best but there are no older ones.Im guessing it is a new model or something cause there are very few second hand ones for sale

I might be wrong but GTR's and GV's are from 06 only, whereas Comets go back to 04's

GTR's are few and far between on the secondhand market although they are starting to appear now

Uh, this may seem a silly question but is there a particular reason why you want a GV or cruiser? A naked sports bike like a VTR or Bandit is far more fun

plenty of people want cruisers over sports bikes.
and like everyone needs to start on a 250, why would you want a RR sportbike of any brand if your heart is cruiser land. you would get a cruiser 250, hence reason snowcaver wants a gv250

But like others said, you be shit out of luck find a second hand one really at moment, check the people that sell the hyosung someome might have a demo they are wanting to sell, or someone as trade one back in after buying it for something different etc etc

    How about the Kawasaki EL250?

Dont pay that much for one though! Should be able to pick one up for $3,000 or less.

I had a 250 cbr sports bike but since they are so old they generally require constant maintaince which I cant be bothered with. I travel 120+ kms a day out to takanini. Called into Mt Eden motorcycles to look at the hyo gt250r and saw the gv. Sat on it and it was comfy as, apart from the foot brake lever which felt awkwardly low from the foot position. So I cant decide if I want to change to a crusier till i get my full and buy a real sportsbike or stick with 15 year old cbrs or zxrs for almost the same price.

And I think the appeal to the gv is all the crome and harley like design.

Has anyone heard what the gv sounds like?
I never asked him to start it and he didnt have a demo.
