wanted: a tacho for GSXR 1100 1993 please Pm me if you have one.
I had a Macadam 100x on the front of my 1100. 12000kms and it had hardly worn. Frankly, that started to worry me as to it's potential grip performance, so I changed to Z6 both ends when the rear came up for replacement. Loved them.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?
What sort of riding do you do?
WMCC have a good deal on some Metz Sporty tyres - check with crasherfromwayback.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

The Macadams? If so, you will find they last well, but don't attempt anything dodgy unless they are well warmed first.

If you're not going for the sporty tyres, try the Metzeler Z6s. Pretty good wear if used predominantly for commuting, and enough grip for them to hold the road when you want to fang it. Plus, they're very confidence-inspiring in the wet. Not cheap though.
