New trial bike rider

Hi All,

I had a ride on my brother in laws YZ250F at xmas & I've been wanting a bike of my again ever since

, I finally got a KLX300, not bad actually, nice mid-range. I'll mainly be doing trail riding, still alot better than taking photo's of other guys having fun

.

Exactly, a few years ago ( ok alot ) I grew up on a farm & finding a trial was as tricky as which empty paddock will I go around over the back, when you're in town this is not so easy

. Though actually been doing jumps for the first time in my life & they are great fun, though I'm really glad the KLX is so forgiving of me landing in some odd ways.

Yeah,I was all set to dish out the red rep for the spelling mistake....but I saw it was in n00b section.But seeing he's got a KLX300 I'll let it slide....for now.

All good, we were just commenting on putting TRIAL in the thread title - Trials being riding over obstacles, more a test of balance than anything else. As opposed to TRAIL riding, which is blasting along trails and tracks.
