Had a look at the road. Nice ride but a bit short. If I make it to the ride this week, and people are interested, I will lead. We will add some bits of road in from here and there to make the trip long enough. We will have to back track some of the road but that should work ok. Lets see what the week brings.

Took Joanna to Tarawera for lunch today. That wind was as bad as I have ever ridden in. It can F*$% off now.
    Had enough mother nature.
Had to feel sorry for the H/D riders in the car park. Their helmets and stuff got blown all about the place. Pays to take them in with you aye boys. Amazing how far an open face helmet will roll in a good wind.

Nice ride tonight. Not very long and not very fast, but a nice cruise. Only 5 bikes, as Steve said, but still enjoyable. See everyone next week, hopefully.

You guys were'nt on HW 50?

Saw some bikes when I was going out to our new place, then saw some a bit later about 7.40 from the hill we're on, going through Maraekakaho.

We went up Dartmoor Rd Dooly, that is a beautiful ride - apart from the bloody pollen for Africa!
Some people missed an awesome ride - where were you all???
Diarrhoea is hereditary - it runs in your jeans

If my nose was running money, I'd blow it all on you...

I don't know that area well, if at all.
Living on the Hastings side of the area, I tended not too venture over there much.
I hope to join you all after Xmas/new year.

You don't need a visa/passport you know!! See ya after the hols...
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

My passport's expired so thats a relief.
I'll see if I can get a last ride in on the VTR after new year, before the builder takes it.

Sorry we didn't make it guys. Mrs G is working late these days and I screwed up my back so have been giving it a little bit of a break. Hope to be there next week.

Is it appropriate to do a memorial ride tomorrow?
Most of us can not go to the funerals of our riding mates.
Maybe a ride to the top of a hill and a moments silence?
Any ideas. The peak? The long way?

Thanks for the thoughts guys & gals. Very much appreciated.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

    Empty Sheds-
In the next few days there's going to be alot of M/T sheds all over this land because members of our immediate family (H.B KBers) and indeed all those of our extended family are on the road travelling to the Funerals of our fallen brothers......... There are those amongst you that have travelled vast distances to also share your love and respect.
A Special Prayer from all of us not able to make this Pilgramage to ALL you brave souls. We will pray for your safe return to those M/T sheds ...
Thinking of you all... Love W&D
Remember....theres been enough sadness in this family for awhile
