Thanks for the great time today! The ride over the takas and back was great (thanks JCM for riding back with me). Sorry I couldn't go on the rest of the ride, but I did get more than half my fence painted when I got home (can't believe noone wanted to go and paint my fence while I went riding!) then went to the fire station for our year end BBQ and gigantic pile of food!

A very good day indeed and I am keen for another!

    Pleasure to meet y'all.
Ummmmmm, I think it was me that rode back with ya - CSL

Just keep riding hun & you'll get your confidence up - you did very well today! The Takas still scares the shit outta me every time I ride it!

Looks like the rest of the day was awesome - again soon okay!

NOpe - twasn't with you, CSL....I rode back after lunch over the takas with Jude. Unless there was some magical body switch going on...I am not quite sure what a Celtic Sea Lily might be capable of!
Me and my imaginary friend have been goin' round the bend for some time now....

Nice the weather held out for you all, I've just checked out the photos, looks and sounds like you all had a fine time. How where the muffins ?

The weather here in Napier was not as bad as expected either, there has been a fresh dumping of snow on the Kawekas and Ruahines Friday, Saturday was a bit shitty but Sunday was sunny and fresh, a beautiful day, soft light and some warmth in the sun.

I'll talk to Yungtart about the ride she has planned in January, should be able to make it on that and meet some of you then, if my bikes here ! Its gotta be this week, after 10 weeks waitng I have gone from waiting patiently to starting to get fucked off, if I do not have it by the weekend I will be seriously fucked off.On fri I was told its finally here, on the boat in port, so surely there cannot be any more holdups.

Glad to hear your ride is imminent......feel free to pillion again this week if you want.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Hey Alice, we've been waiting six months for new handle bars to arrive from... now where are they coming from? Mars I think it was!!
And it was a good day, weather worked itself out and Lissa's muffins are DEVINE , everything they were hyped up to be (even though I shared mine with my beloved)! Thanks Mel, top notch!

Thanks so much gals for organising the ride - I had a great time and it was nice to meet some more kb's and put faces to names. Looking forward to catching up again at some stage.

What amazes me is that I went on this ride and STILL don't know who half the gals actually are!!!

I will have to do better next time at putting faces to names. I rather suspect that I missed out on meeting the faster riders....
