allo, i not speakee de kiwi eengleesh wery well. i am from eengland home of the wank soccer, cricket and wugby teams. thank god our morris dancers are unbeatable.

been motorcycling almost 30 years, 'bout ten bikes in all. now hang on grimly to the bars of an R1, not very successfully sometimes. started riding on a Honda cub, but decided i wasn't gay (stiff shit hurts my arse) or too scared for a real bike

looking fwd to meeting a few of you stand up individuals who still cherish freedom and lunacy. likely to attend a few runs from west gate....i'll be the one on a black bike wearing brown curduroys.

must go as i have a sermon to prepare for the presbyterian church tomorrow

Welcome. You'll enjoy the ATNR rides from Westgate. I've only done 3, and they are excellent.

May I suggest that you check this thread..

    Morris Dancing ....
It is danced under blue skies to celebrate the quickening of the soil and under bare stars because it's springtime and with any luck the carbon dioxide will unfreeze again. The imperative is felt by deep-sea beings who have never seen the sun and urban humans whose only connection with the cycles of nature is that their Volvo once ran over a sheep.
It is danced innocently by raggedy-bearded young mathematicians to an inexpert accordion rendering of "Mrs Widgery's Lodger" and ruthlessly by such as the Ninja Morris Men of New Ankh, who can do strange and terrible things with a simple handkerchief and a bell.

    Oh and welcome.
