    Kekekekeke...

Me Dad's parents live in Te Atatu Peninsula. When we used to go visiting... well... off the top of my head, I can think of at least 4 times there have been shit-loads of police around the bank because it's been held up. The place is almost humorous in it's predictability...

    Cool

There is nought wrong with West Auckland.....

Its just those buggars from other areas (South, north and east) that come into our spot and disturb the locals.

If they just stayed in there own areas then the wild west would be so happy.

I lived in Te Atatu Peninsula for 2 years...
    I liked it over there...
yeah now and then there were cop chases down my road, or boy racers doing their thing...
But over all it was a nice spot.

Yeah, was great for my grandfather, who was a mad-keen boatie who built his own boat in his backyard, then launched it straight from the peninsula (had to knock down a few neighbours fences though to get it to the water first lol). It's getting really expensive there now, with all the development. Just a pity about some of the bad influences on the place.

I used to live in Glen Eden. I really liked it there, had great neighbours too. The only thing I had to get used to was the Police helicopter hovering over the house everyweekend. Damn that spotlight's bright!

We had that helicopter when we lived in GreenBay,not just on weekends but anyday of the week.It would circle the school, and the flight path was right over our place. It stopped when that Greek guy was killed in La Rosa St,just over the road from us.The drugs were coming and going across the school fields. The guy was pretty good at martial arts,so they shot him having a crap.I got involved in a smash and grab raid on the New World too - the car crashed in La Rosa St and they ran across our place to get away,I was watching them from an upstairs window.

But GreenBay was paradise compared to Universal Drive,it was just a mad house in that area.I've spent 9 years in New Lynn and WoodBay too.A lot of my Westy friends are like me....from East/South Auckland.

I'm originally from South Auckland but have lived out West for the last 11 years and I wouldn't live anywhere else.

I see the Eagle chopper some days but who hasn't when you live in Auckland, I feel far safer out West than in other parts of Auckland.........but then we are a placid bunch with all the greenery we have out here

then parked it up the road a bit
the bill recond he just missed my mirror
(had to explane that he had not and that was why it was broken)
I was not aloud to to have a talk with him on my own though
