I always wave! And it's one of my life missions to make Harley's wave at me!

    No mate, wasn't me.

    1) I don't wave. It only encourages this sort of immature behaviour and besides, waving is dangerous. Keep your hands on the bars at all times.
    2) I would have stopped for beer. I ride much smoother when I'm tanked and bins hurt less.
    3) Hardly ever ride the Repsol. In fact it's for sale except I'm too lazy to advertise it. You know it's a collectors item.

I guess it must depend on the day as i run both a cruiser and a sports bike and some days everyone will give a wave or acknowledgement regardless of what bike i am riding, yet on other days hardley a thing.
Either way it does'nt really bother me but i usually try and acknowledge other riders whenever i can.

    What you looking at?

Maybe it's just funny little me but I never get waves from cruisers and almost always from sports bikes...two fingers is a wave isn't it?
Might be just because until recently I was on a GB250, maybe now I have a 400 I'll just get waves from everyone...right?

    Hey.....I've got a great idea!
Why don't we have a special KB wave so that we can recognise each other on the road?

Why hasn't this been thought of before?!

    - touch the left side of yer helmet; or
    - touch the top of yer helmet

I was in Rotorua on the weekend (In the cage) however I saw the goldwing mentioned earlier... and quite a few bikes also... I gave a nod from my car... and was suprised that I got a few back no doubt the bikers were thinking 'must have left the bike at home today' or something similar

I think all "wave" threads should get bundled up and sent off to some surfing forum so we don't have to read them over and over and over again.

    Surfers appreciate waves.

Mind you, while out walking I do tend to say "morning" or "hello" to other people walking through the park....fellowship of shanks pony.
