Nice footwork into the corners where you were getting worried Jeff (sort of feet off the pegs and stabbing at things style)

Grub - That wasn't some fancy footwork, that was me trying not to put holes in my new boots!

See you on the next ride!

Good point, I'm worried about mine. Does anyone know what you can get to edge my boots. I don't hit the road THAT often but they're getting the edges worn off ... and I've only had them for two weeks!

I know you can get those metal ones but they're so ... well ... Harley

LOL! You do have a point

In mitigation, that's how Honda made em in '90 and it *is* getting painted in the 2001 CBR600 yellow colour scheme - which I think is pretty cool. How committed am I to this? I've just taken delivery of my Black/Yellow suit from lifestyle-imports - very committed.

It were me, luminous retina-burning yellow jacket man. I'm not really that friendly, I was just lining up to steal your wallet from your back pocket as I pushed. Just doing my bit to help endangered species.

Honestly, it was farking glorious. Nice to see your bike in such great condition *and* given the kind of riding it was clearly designed for.

Purty. I hear these guys are pretty good on the powder coating side of things (thinking wheels), I haven't used them myself, but a hotrodder mate of mine has and sings their praises a lot.

My other Norton is blue with high pipes. I will bring that along sometime and you can check out the rear view of that one too!

Nice to ride with you Dave. Catch up with you at the next ride!

Well - a bigger one to the one other guy who turned up (Neil?) - he decided to take on the takas; I decided it was a bit breezy for that for me, and explored the western hills of the Hutt Valley instead - Korokoro-Maungaraki-Normandale-Belmont.

It was a bit breezy up there too ... and the elevated bits of the motorway were somewhat alarming :-)

Home safely now, anyway - hopefully Neil manages that too.
