    Blah Nerds Needed!

    Hia folks,

    Had my Nokia 6270 for a while now, but it has never been setup for vodafone properlly...

    I can make calls, send/recieve text messages but no GPRS or 3G or PXT (send/recieve)

    I have gone through all the menus and set everything to 'vodafone' but it still wont work?

    Any ideas?

    When i went into the vodafone shop, the dude just looked on a webpage and said 'sorry mate your phones not listed, cant help you' !!!!!

    I know it can work but how???

    Thanks in advance!!!

    theres two technologies your trying to use, well 3 actually including voice & txt;

    Pxt = gprs and/or 3G
    3G = 3G

    search for your phones specs and see if its enabled for either/or; if it is then ring 777 and ask them to enable them for ya.

    Ok I have a good plan for you.....

    you go and buy a phone that you can understand....

    then we are all happy......

    it's not 3G capable but it its GPRS enabled; ring 777 or what ever the number is and ask the munkey to hook you up.

    Is it an overseas version? It might need reset and correct NZ firmware loaded on it...
