    Coromandel (30 December)

Went to the Driving Creek railway today, Been three times already but it always amazes me and it gets better each time.

Anyway on the way there I was subjected to some piss poor riding by some bikes, I pulled over to let them past and even tho I had given them heaps of room one of them couldnt ride past me with out crossing the centre line, which he did a number of times further up the road which almost resulted in a Head on.

Further up i came across them again on the side of the road Dont know what they stopped for , anyway as I approached there was a small gap between me and the vehicle in front so this guy on a beemer decides to nail it from a standing start , and to my amusment then spent the next 2 secs trying to stop his bike falling over as he lost traction and skidded sideways.

Back on the road they then proceded to pass the row of cars in the most stupid of places, corners, on coming cars were not a prob to these guys.

Just hope they got to there destination ok, lol out of most of the cars I was the only one to give them room...to which they did wave.

Ride safe guys have fun and see you out there .Happy New year too.

Geez don't you guys know anything? You're supposed to ride like that or you're a soft cock.

Obviously - being a stiff is so much better.

Used to spend a lot of time up at Driving Creek, my b/friend at the time's dad worked there. Do you know if Barry still owns and runs the place? You'd know this by the amount of falic pottery about the place. It really is a worry.

Yes, Barry still owns the place. He often drives one of the little trains. He was always a worry!!

Those riders sound like another group of "temporary citizens". I feel sorry for the unsuspecting person they hit...
