Poor Bugger will never be Commissioner now.

At last, some "truth" about NZ drivers.

If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

Crikey. Are we seeing a new era of truth in politics?
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

    Slightly but:

geezz... I hate that term "Ma & Pa".... puts me right off investing in the share market... just seems so bloody demeaning.

    As you were everyone.

That may be so in the south Island , But there has been at least 20 deaths that have involved directly or indirectly - Boy Racers.

Some dont even get reported in the news.

about time we stopped this region against region thing after all we are all Kiwis, so its more of a National thing.

He is Right tho in the last 3 years we have only had 1 death in Ngatea resulting from a lowered subaru that contained far too many teenagers in it ......and they wernt even racing or being stupid apart from driving tired , which is what a lot more older people do and because they have been "driving a lot longer" ,The "I`ll Be alright " attitude prevails.

fact is Drivers of all ages will make a mistake ,crash and kill themselves or someone else, we can only hope to minimize this not stop it .
And attitude is the biggest thing we need to change.

He even used the correct phrase "driving too fast for the conditions" rather than the emotive and inaccurate term "speeding"!

I was on SH16 yesterday and came up behind a Ma and Pa Stationwagon driving under the speedlimit and it just drifted into the curb on a corner, followed by a decent overcorrection and resulting weave across the road!? I presume they were looking at the view? No boy racers in sight, no speed limit broken, just an incompetent or tired driver at the wheel.

Meanderthals will be the death of me. There were three of them nose-to-tail behind a truckload of farm machinery on the road between Blenheim and Kaikoura the other day. So successful were they that nothing got a chance to overtake until the truck pulled off just south of Clarence. By that stage I had lost sight of the end of the stream of vehicles behind -- probably at least 50. And people wonder why there is road rage.

Like the slack-jawed mouth-breathing drongo down here.

Rain was that HEAVY (and ferk was it heavy, like the stuff they get up north) the cop was driving to the conditions doing 70kph - and was passed by driver doing 143kph!!

It makes it easier to say 'speeding' than "man this guy was going way too fast for the conditions" eh?

Mr Pleece Spooksperson is missing the point, we don't hate boy racers because they have accidents, we hate then because they make too much noise, drive like twats, can't dress themselves and think that a tune is all about bass.
Fuck 'em, and when the cops have done that, they can get those other road killers - Mum and Dad average doing 12 km/h over the limit.

Ma an' Pa are statistacly the most numerouse drivers out on the road. Don't need to be a rocket scientist to work that one out. I think this fucker has forgotten his place in society.

He is our servant .........we the public (that's Ma an Pa to this bozo) are not his.
