Abusive personal emails from "anon"

Paranoid question. Does anyone here use the phrase "pussy homo". And is anyone here involved in some kind of moto racing called "Tap".

Reason I ask is that some stranger just sent me (or rather the Charity I work for) a raging abusive e-ml unsigned on behalf of "us". The above are clues to who, and I'm really hoping no KBers would would creep about anon.

Some public statement I made re road safety whipped them in to a frenzy and next thing I'm accused of the following by said anon e-mler;
- basically wanting to put bikers thru cheesegraters (WTF!)
- wanting them off the road..... hmmm hmmm, I LIKE bikes.
- being a commy who goes skiing (no) and voted this govt in (no - did not vote as the quality was too low all around)
- needing to toughen up and accept roads are dangerous or else to just stay off 'em or F off overseas (umm I'm not keen on fatalistically being a possum in headlights)
- needing to stop being a do gooder who FORCES my opinions on others.

Needless to say the manuscript was filled with abusive expletives. And I fail to see the justification for the rage level. I suggested better engineering standards to reduce crashes, speed travel and save money longterm - yes that included median srtrips. Cos I want to go over 100 not be in the land of 80 k in future too.

So anyway - I'm hoping this "representative" was not from here. I'd have thought that sneakiness was below members here, but the ?guy semned to know a little about me?! It just feels uncomfortable not knowing is all I can say.

Anyone had similar experiences ever and traced it back here and if so did it get sorted? Lifes too short for this

If you want to post the email header here we can pick it appart and you can complain to the ISP and get their internet suspended.

Searched for "pussy homo" on KB and only got this thread. So hopefully no one on here is that gutless....

What email address was it from? And were there any threats (thinking ISP / cops)....

I'm not THAT worried. But if it continues... can you really trace them thru the e-ml - it was an msn account. But the thought crossed my mind the crazy SOB is a loose cannon. What next - write to cancer society to rant about the warning labels they put on sunscreen! To clarify - it was not a PM from here but an e-ml sent via the net site of the Org I work for.

Who knows it could be an ex barred KBer (lets hope). Another clue - a hatred of cages was apparent. I do like to get to bottom of things - kinda like a forensic scientist I guess.

No outright threats - just a menacing tone and abusive really. Tho I wouldnt want to meet the guy, being not a "pussy homo" but rather a fem. Yeah I searched the term too and got one hit on NZ google - some guy on a drugz/music site but was young and his posts did not sound twisted. He's in Auckland - far far away.

the best way is to check the packet headers on the email

MSN store the time, date and IP address of every site user. So if you were sent an email, MSN could identify the sender, unless he used a proxy server.

But I bet, that just like tardme, even though they KNOW who done it, they wont tell you!

Best bet, sign in to a series of gambling, porn, free widget type sites using the senders email addy. Soon he will have to bin his account cos of the spam.

just a coment.which has happened to me.iam married to a thai lady,,,last march her super clever sister came here. and put a key loger.thingy on my pc..which means she is in bangkok watching everthing i do on the pc...i mean everthing....it has now cost me my marriage and half my sanity..u just dont know how clever some people can b....we are only aravage joes.....that e-mail may of of some c../t in nigera or anywhere...who noes..the internet can b a bit dangerous sometimes..pc is going down to get cleaned out in the morning,,,re. format...opps..sister is probably reading this..well blow it out your ear....Ride Safe....KEV
