    Adjusting GPX250 Rear shock

Hey how do I adjust the rear shocks on a GPX250? It's annoyingly soft! Don't want to have to buy a gpz500 shock as these are frugal times... But may be a last resort if someone has one available?

you can't, they aren't adjustable. If you took it to someone who re-builds shocks they might be able to put a spacer or something in to increase the preload. Maybe they could fit a stiffer spring to it for you as well?

The bikes are popular in america so you can easily get a nice aftermarket shock if you want to spend the money.

Really?? woah. Thats weird! Same engine as the zzr and mines got adjustable shock. Can you not pop one of those in? Im not familiar with that bike though.

I've never seen or heard of a stock shock on a gpx250 that has been adjustable

If the zzr one fitted then that would be awesome
